30th Annual Celebrity Dinner

The 30th Annual Celebrity Dinner and Memorabilia Auction lived up to the expectations where more than 900 guests attended this much anticipated annual event to support the CSF mission: to financially assist Connecticut cancer patients and their families and fund cancer research.

After 11 years of hosting the Celebrity Dinner, Master of Ceremonies, Mike Francesa from WFAN is bidding farewell as he plans to exit WFAN later this year. Once again, he brought his alluring sports talk to the Sports Program

where he brought back unforgettable baseball memories from future Hall of Famer “Big Papi” David Ortiz, NY Yankees Luis Severino and Tyler Austin along with NY Mets pitcher Steven Matz. Joining us on stage were CSF Grant Recipients who told stories of courage, grace and humor in the face of difficulty, and love and support amidst struggle.

As always, the venue was spectacular with incredible foods, desserts and beverages provided by Mohegan Sun.

We thank Mike for 11 years of generosity, entertainment and many fond memories!

With sincere gratitude to our generous sponsors, sports stars, volunteers and all those supporting the 2017 Celebrity Dinner to make it spectacular!

See you next year on Friday, February 9, 2018!
